Goodwood Primary School is a coeducational government primary school located in the metropolitan location of Goodwood, South Australia. The school has a total enrolment of 260 students, 53% are boys and 47% are girls. The school caters for years R to grade 7.

Goodwood Primary School is a multicultural and economically diverse school. The school has about 260 students from Reception to Year 7 in nine mainstream and three New Arrival Program classes. About twenty per cent of students are from a background of a language other than English. The school values are respect, fairness and achievement and our mission is to create a challenging and supportive learning community. Recent achievements include high academic results, a healthy canteen, a cooking program and community garden, district athletics competition winners, community service, a charity fundraising program and the Taiko Drumming Group. The school promotes student voice through student forums and student leaders. Restorative practice provides the foundation for student-student, adult-student and adult-adult relationships and conflict resolution. Current areas for school improvement are science, literacy/numeracy and student wellbeing. Negotiated Education Plan students are exempt from taking the National Assessment Program - Literacy and Numeracy tests but are included in the data as students who did not meet national minimum standards.
